Detailed release notes Dub Planner 2.2.0.7
A log will be kept of all actions done on
a project in Dub Quest, this can be seen in Dub Planner.
To see the logs in Dub Planner, click on 'Quest. log overview' in the
'Questionnaires' menu in the left of the screen. In the pull down menu that shows in the right side of
the screen, select the project code of which you want to see the
project log and click 'Refresh'.
All the actions done on the project will show now, all having a
severity flag number. The higher the number, the more severe the action
done is.

The
list is automatically sorted on LogID number. The log list can easily
be sorted on other
features, by clicking on the corresponding column header.
The list can also be filtered on the reported status.
Online Report pages are protected by a password
Online
reports for questionnaires can now be protected by a password. This functionality can be
accessed through Dub Planner. Only one password can be created, it is
not
possible
to create multiple password for multiple users.
To create a password, open Dub Planner and choose 'Online Report' from
the left menu in 'Questionnaires'.
In the text box behind 'Report filename', the name of the report page
you created in the project folder, should be entered. For example
'onlinereport.html'. After entering a password and clicking 'Add', the
report page appears in the list on the left side of the page. From
here, passwords for report pages can be edited or deleted.

Give feedback while testing questionnaires
While doing a Test Interview in Manage Frames, it is
now
possible to give comments and feedback
about the questionnaire. Click here to see a short description of how this is done.
The comments can be seen and edited in Dub Planner. You can access this functionality by clicking 'Feedback' in the 'Questionnaire' menu in the left of the screen.
The following screen opens:

To see the comments, select the project code in the drop down list behind 'Questionnaire' and click 'Refresh' at the bottom of the screen. By default all problems will show. The list of comments can also be filtered on the not solved problems only. This will be instantly done when you select the option ' Not solved only' behind the drop down.

By clicking on the edit button
it is possible
to edit the comments. This can only be done in Dub Planner, in the Test Interview in Manage Frames it is not possible to make changes to the comments.
When the comment is opened in the Edit screen, several changes can be made to the comment.

Besides giving a problem or solution description, it is also possible to set the 'Solved' status. The visibility of the comments can also be
set here: when this option is unchecked, this comment will not be
visible in the comment list in the Test Interview.
All the changes made here (after clicking 'ok'), will instantly be
visible in the comments screen in the Test Interview.
Improved handling of Non Response templates
Changing the Non Response templates can now easily be done in Dub Planner. This option can be found in the left menu below 'Questionnaires' and is called 'NonResponse templates'.
When you click this option, the following screen opens:

At the top of the screen there is a list of all the Non Response templates that are available. When your Dub Planner is upgraded to this version, 4 standard Non Response templates are provided and will show in this list.
When a new template is created (using the 'create a new template' option in the top right of the screen) this template will be added to this list, which is sorted by default in alphabetical order.
Creating a new template
A new Non Response template can easily be created by entering a description and clicking 'Add'.
A newly created template is empty, no non response codes are in it yet. To import codes in to the template, click the 'Import Codes' button (
) behind the template name in the template overview. The screen below will appear:
Here you see an overview of all the non response codes that are available. Clicking an arrow behind the non response code, will import the code in the template. All the imported codes will show in a list on the right side of the screen.
When a code is imported, it can be edited by clicking the icon behind the code in the 'Edit' column. Here you can change the description names in different languages and/or the Line number.
The template (or any other template) can be assigned to a project. That means that the project will use the Non response template that is assigned to it. This can be done in the main screen of ' Non Response templates' (see the first screen shot above), using the option 'Assign Template to Questionnaire'. Here you have to select the template and the concerning Questionnaire (project) from the drop down lists and click 'Assign'.
Besides assigning predefined templates to questionnaires, it's also possible for each questionnaire to have it's own unique Non Response template (based on an existing template, if assigned). It's possible to import or delete codes for each individual project, by clicking the 'import codes' button behind the project name, in the main screen:

An individual Non Response screen of a project, can also be saved as a Non Response template. This is done by clicking the 'Save as' button behind the project. A prompt screen will pop-up where a name for the template can be entered. After doing this and clicking 'ok', the template will be saved and will show in the Non Response template list in the top of the screen.
Improved handling of error messages
In this version of Dub Planner, it is
possible to change the error messages that are shown in Dub
Interviewer (during an interview) directly.
To do this,
click on the option 'Messages Translation' in the 'Miscellaneous' menu in
the left of the screen. First you have to select if you want to change
the 'project dependent messages', or the 'global messages'.
When
you change the 'global messages' it will affect the messages in all
projects, with 'project dependent messages' you can change the messages
per project individually.
Project dependent messages
When selecting
the Project dependent messages, a drop down will appear where you have to select the project of which you want to change the error messages.
The drop down list behind 'Test definitie' shows all the error messages that can be adjusted.

Each error message has to be changed individually, this can be done by simply selecting one from the drop down list. In the screen the 'Text key' appears, this is the system code for this particular message. Also a text box with the 'Text description' appears. In this box is described what error message this exactly is and what the format of this message is. These two information boxes can't be edited.
In the bottom of the screen, two languages can be chosen for which you want to change the error message. If you only want to change one language, you only have to choose one language.
The error message can be adjusted directly in the text box that appears below the language option, and is saved by clicking the 'Save' button.
Global messages
When you select the global messages, a
drop down will
appear where you can choose which 'collection' of error messages you
want to adjust:
Each
collection of messages has it's own set of error messages. For example,
if we choose 'DubInt SingleResponse Question', we see a drop down with a
list of all available error messages for a Single Response Question.
Selecting and changing the error messages works exactly the same as described above in 'Project dependent messages'.
