  • Dub InterViewer and VOIP: Integration with the Asterisk VOIP Exchange

VOIP (Voice over IP) is rapidly becoming an industry standard way of managing telephone calls. One of the most exciting developments in VOIP is the Asterisk open source VOIP exchange (www.asterisk.org). Nebu has been working with USP Marketing Consultancy  (www.usp-mc.nl) and the IPCompany (www.theIPcompany.nl) to integrate Dub InterViewer with the Asterisk system, and it is already in use at USP Marketing Consultancy in the Netherlands. Ronald Koppelman of the IPCompany in Amsterdam said 'We've found it very straight forward to implement an interface to Dub InterViewer for the Asterisk system. The cost factor is significantly reduced by using an open source product such as Asterisk. " Fred Broers of Nebu BV continued, "This new VOIP interface is a logical progression for us, we aim to support the latest in telephony technology so our clients can save money as soon as possible".
