On March 22, 2016 Nebu and the University of Debrecen have agreed to establish the Nebu Scholarship.

Nebu’s aim is to support motivated IT students in furthering their careers: students will have the opportunity to participate in a research project during the summer, supervised by specialists from both Nebu and the University. It is a unique opportunity for them to get in touch with a multinational company, gaining valuable hands-on experience!

Zoltan Szuhai, Director Research & Development at Nebu, also Managing Director Nebu Hungary Kft, said “We are very happy with this scholarship. This strategic relationship with the Informatics Faculty of Debrecen University is the start of building for the future. The topics on offer to the students can range from the basics to thesis work, dissertations, publications - that all involved parties, including our clients, can benefit from. We also offer University students a traineeship possibility, to help them to get their Diploma. This is a very exciting period in our history!”

This is not only a challenge for big or medium sized companies, this is a challenge for all companies in the region, as well as keeping talent in this region. Via this co-operation the University expects more market-driven scientific research will get started, leading to an increase of the level of our students resulting in higher level Thesis & Ph.D. work, which brings value to all: student, University & local companies.”
